Sleep Apnea“I have had excellent care at Dentistry With TLC. I came here to get an oral appliance to treat my sleep apnea because I didn’t like my CPAP. When I used my CPAP it would wake me up and I would still feel tired in the morning. I no longer use my CPAP and I sleep longer before I have to wake up to go to the restroom. I also not tired in the morning when it’s time to wake up. If you are thinking about getting an oral appliance, go for it. It’s worth the cost.”

Now that Dr. Smith made me an oral appliance I don’t need to use my CPAP anymore. I like that my appliance is silent, comfortable and not cumbersome. If you don’t like your CPAP, I recommend calling Dr. Smith and getting an oral appliance.”

Sleep Apnea“My oral sleep appliance gives me full, restful nights of sleep which increases my energy for the day. Before I got an oral appliance I used a CPAP every night for 5 years and I was unhappy every night when I put it on. I lacked free movement because the air hose kept me tethered and it made fluttering noises that would wake my wife when the air would escape from the mask. The tightness of the headgear made the bridge of my nose sore, left strap marks on my cheeks and made indentions on my forehead. When the power went off I had no air. The CPAP also made my nose and throat dry and airport screening was an ordeal. Now that I use an oral sleep appliance I don’t have any more facial marks, dry mouth, and pain from the tight mask or noise to wake my wife. I love being free to move and turn over. Dr. Smith and the staff at Dentistry With TLC encouraged me to call if I had questions. I have the sense that they really want their patients to have a better quality of life.”
